BELIEVE IN ME
Think of me as your friend, I pray,
and call be by that sweet name.
I won’t care what others say,
as long as we still both remain.
I wont’ care how dark the night,
nor loud the howling storm.
Your love will hold tight
and your arms shall keep me warm.
Call me close beside you, please,
or my life is of little worth;
Let us the moment seize,
while living here on earth.
If you would trust and feel secure,
I ask no more, you see;
Than to offer a love that’s pure,
and have you believe in me.
